Wine Club: Foodies’ Night In
Wrap up this Monday unlike any other before. Turn your glorious grape fancy loose when cookingwithcaitlin.com delivers our wine gift to you, Foodies’ Night In (#fni). Whether you are simply a wine spectator or the founding member of a dozen different wine clubs, we hope you’ll join us for juicy discussion. We’ve assembled a collection of wine connoisseurs, wine experts, and wine bloggers from all over the Twitterscape to lead the exchange and educate all of us thirsty foodies on everything from wine labels to wine auctions. Come to the tasting table with an empty wine basket; by the time we cork things up at 6 EST, you are sure to leave with that same basket brimming with earthy, crisp, sweet, spicy, sparkling brilliance.
Weigh in or just watch the chatter guided by us, and a table-full of food-focused Twitter friends. Created by Molly, Kelly, and Caitlin of cookingwithcaitlin.com, #fni is just one more way of bringing the hungry (and thirsty, for heaven’s sake) people of the world to the same table. Everyone is busy; we designed this virtual event to keep us connected in a very simple way each week. Do not miss Foodies’ Night In.

RSVP: As far as online event registration goes, let’s be honest, we really don’t need you to RSVP, but we would sure love to hear from you. Send us a tweet or an email to let us know you are joining the conversation.
Here’s how it works: Late Monday afternoons (4-6pm eastern to be exact) we meet through Twitter. Using the hashtag #FNI and that of the weekly sponsor, we greet each other at the virtual door, and get cozy to talk about whatever food-related topic we are featuring that day. Typically the topic will be determined by the weekly sponsor of #fni. The sponsor compiles at least ten questions that serve as the framework of the conversation over the two hours of #fni. Then, the hosts throw out each question at pre-determined times throughout #fni. Of course, the questions and hosts are in place to guide the worldwide chat, but all candid questions, comments, and concerns are invited and encouraged.
