Would you like to up your culinary game in 2010?  Need a bit of inspiration and good fun? Are you looking to take a few cooking classes in Cincinnati?  Are you thinking of a career change and in need of information on culinary arts schools?  Find yourself searching “culinary school Cincinnati” wondering what it would be like?

If the answer to any of these questions is yes (or you just want a good laugh), this is the show for you.

This week on What’s Hot with Molly, Kelly and Caitlin we chatted it up with Amy Hunter of the Midwest Culinary Institute and Kyle Goebel, Executive Chef & General Manager of The Bell Event Centre and Adjunct Professor at The Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. If you are curious in any way about culinary arts, Amy and Kyle (and we, the Cooking with Caitlin girls) have you handled.

This was Amy’s second time on the show and she continues to deliver the goods – I mean is there a restaurant, a chef, a cooking technique that she doesn’t know?  And it is only fitting as it is Amy who brings us Creations Community Cooking Classes at the Midwest Culinary Institute - seriously, they have some great classes in store for all of us.  For those of you who do not know, these cooking classes are open to the public – you don’t have to be a professional student.  The upcoming class schedule includes: a Wine 101 class, Low Carbs: Resolution Revolution, Post-Modern Burgers! With Caitlin Steininger of Cooking with Caitlin (yes, that’s us!), among many, many more.  The line up is impressive (if we do say so ourselves).

After Amy appeared on What’s Hot the first time, she told us that Kyle is truly one of the best.  So naturally, we had to see for ourselves and have him on the show.  He didn’t disappoint.

Here’s a guy who is so passionate about what he is doing that he jumps out of bed every morning glad he gets to cut and chop his way through the day. When listening to him talk about food and his passion, you can’t help but smile and have your spirits lifted.

And, for those who are searching for the perfect wedding spot, and are considering the Bell Event Centre, listen in to learn a bit about its Executive Chef. If this conversation doesn’t just set you over the edge….  The Bell Event Centre is home to many weddings in Cincinnati and will take your breath away.  The way that Kyle talked about hospitality and the food he creates to make that day unforgettable, we couldn’t help but tease Kyle – does he have his wedding all planned?  Ladies, he’s not married yet but whoever he marries may just get to sit back and let him do the planning – a chef AND general manager of an event center…  Be sure to check out the Bell Event Centre (and yes, they do more than just weddings).

And finally, be sure to listen in for hospitality tips traditionally reserved for professionals that can easily be done at home.

It’s What’s Hot. Amy and Kyle are What’s Hot. Special thanks to them for making this week so fun.
