cooking information
- Yield: 4 Cups
- Prep Time: 2 minutes
- Cooking Time: 5 minutes
all ingredients
- 2 Cups Heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 Cup Powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp Vanilla
recipe instruction
1. In a large mixing bowl combine all of the ingredients.
2. With your beaters, mix on high for approximately 3-5 minutes or until stiff peaks.
**Stiff peaks are when the cream is finally thick enough that when you pull the beaters up from the bowl the “curl” that is created can hold it’s shape. Or if this doesn’t make sense, drag your finger across the top of the whipped cream and you want the mark to leave a line.
3. Chill until service and serve with fresh berries, ice cream, or your favorite pie.
cooking tips
- I like to serve this with my Whole Roasted Chicken and Polenta recipes!
- Substitute roma tomatoes with cherry tomatoes if you are looking for a garnish. You will not need to cook for as long!
- You know when your tomatoes are finished when they are tender and have reduced in size by about half.
