Sriracha Potato Salad

Sriracha Potato Salad

a new twist to the standard picnic dish

Potato salad is a summer staple for my family - and while some think that potato salad recipes are a dime a dozen, they have not tried this Sriracha Potato Salad.  If you like spicy foods, this recipe is for you! Add this recipe to your entertaining guide and pull it out regularly to impress your friends and family.

I love classic summertime foods, and I always like to mix it up a bit. My Sriracha Potato Salad is an easy red skin potato salad recipe and a great new take on this classic dish. And the best part is, it can be made in just 2 easy steps!

I like to serve this Sriracha Potato Salad alongside hot dogs, burgers and corn on the cob. Serve this up with my BBQ Stuffed Burger or the Pittsburgh Panini Burger and you have a home run of a meal!

Learn to Cook!  Be sure to watch my internet video on how to make this Sriracha Potato Salad.  This video is just one many of our online cooking classes!

cooking information

  • Yield: 6-8
  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cooking Time: 60 minutes

all ingredients

  • 1 Pound Red Potatoes
  • 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 Cup Sriracha Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Mustard
  • 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 Teaspoons Salt

recipe instruction

1. Pre-heat your oven to 450 degrees. **See my tips below before you get started with the potatoes. There are two ways to create this recipe.**

2. Wash your red potatoes and then cut them. Do this by first cutting the red potato in half, rotate it 90 degrees and cutting the red potato in half again. Holding the potato together to keep its form, cut the red potato into thick slices (be sure to see my internet video as this is hard to explain).

3. Place the cut red potatoes in the oven and cook for 1 hour, or until the red potatoes are golden brown and crispy.

4. Remove from the oven, and while the potatoes are still hot, add all remaining ingredients (Mayonnaise, Sriracha Hot Sauce, Mustard, Black Pepper and Salt). Stir together and serve!

cooking tips

  • Be sure to add your Mayonnaise, Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce, and Mustard while the potatoes are hot. This way all of the potatoes will be coated with the spicy sauce!
  • Save yourself tons of time by using frozen potatoes from the grocery. I like to use the ones seasoned with only sea salt and black pepper. Then, I simply toss them with the mayo, mustard, and sriracha (omitting the salt and pepper) with my hands.
