Chorizo Burgers
smoky pork burgers with a little kick
When I am looking to switch it up from the same old hamburger, these Chorizo Burgers do the trick. Some might consider this to be a gourmet burger, and when you learn how easy it is to make, you will be proud to serve this chorizo burger.
Just mildly spicy, the pork really allows the flavors to shine.
I like to combine this with my other burgers when tailgating. You can also add grilled peppers and onions as you see in the picture.

2. Once the pork is mixed, create four equal size patties with your hands.
3. On a hot grill cook for 7 minutes on one side. Do not touch the pork and press it down to try to make it cook faster just let it cook for 7 minutes. Have patience!

cooking tips
- If you are nervous about the taste and don't want to cook all of it before knowing what you are serving everybody, make a little patty and cook it to get a sample.
- If you really love this recipe, make more than you need and place the extra in the freezer for another great dinner.
- See my recipe for peppers and onions; they are the perfect topping for this delicious chorizo burger.
- I like to use dinner rolls instead of buns as they are sweet and add a little twist.
