#BEEF Burger Recipes

We had a little chat with BEEF this week. Kansas Beef, in fact. For a couple hours, actually. And I’m proud to report that together we put on an #FNIchat Twitter party packed so full of muscle and protein, it got the attention of the entire Twitterverse!

We had set out simply to swap some beefy recipes perfect for kick-starting the back-to-school season, but once we connected with the rest of our foodie friends, it became clear that the beef-lovin’ recipe box is even bigger than a highschooler’s backpack. We ended up comparing notes on everything from stews and stir-frys to crock pots and casseroles. Every one of us was craving a hunk of beef before the chat had wrapped!

By the end of #FNIchat, I had planned a week of menus revolving around beef. I kicked off the school-night suppers with one of my personal favorite beef burgers, The General Wong Burger. With crunchy pickled onions and creamy bleu cheese sauce, it is the perfect design on the good ol’ fashioned burger:
