Valentine’s Day Dinner Plans
No doubt most of you will be breaking bread with your boo Saturday night. And so, with this is mind, we brought the restaurant-wise, benefit-focused dynamos from @iDine into the #FNIchat mix to help get all of us set up for smooch-inspiring success in the coming week.
@AuthenticCoast: Dear men, repeat after us: there are 2 Valentine’s Days this year, Feb 11 & 14. Be prepared. #FNIchat
It’s true, hungry friends, we’re in the final countdown for a Happy Hearts’ Day. In just one week we’ll be donning our best red threads and passing homemade doily valentines. But the festivities start much sooner. Here begins a solution-rich synopsis of the chat sponsored by @iDine (get the entire exchange by searching #FNIchat in Twitter).
@CoziFamily: I think if you don’t have reservations for Valentine’s Day by now, you’re basically screwed. #FNIChat
Well, yes and no. Surely you still could grab a stool at the nearest Skyline counter – and if that’s where you had your first date that probably will be perfect. But if it’s not, you’re going to need to scramble. You’re running out of time to reserve the table for two set just for you and your love. So, first you’ve got to pick the place; take a cue from the following suggestions:
@iDine: We’re all on the go – download the iDine app and you can find out what locations near you are offering iDine benefits. #FNIchat
@condoblues: When I had a Palm Pilot I had the Zagat guide on it. Found great restaurants w/ it on vacation. #FNIchat
@poodle_power: I read tons of reviews, my dining dollars are too precious to go waste! I especially love @FoodSpotting to pick new places #FNIchat
Get excited about a new or familiar eatery and make the reservation (and if you discover the restaurant on iDine.com, make plans to earn rewards too!). On this seventh day of February move quickly! The last thing anybody wants is for this tweet to come true:
@AuthenticCoast: Not reserving = single in March. #FNIchat
With a hot date on Saturday night, the lovefest that IS you and your beloved will be going strong before the sun even rises on the 14th. So then, wrap the much-more-than-a-Hallmark holiday with a decadent dessert at home. Serve it after dinner, or, go crazy and surprise your sweetie with it for breakfast in bed. Dazzle your dear by making homemade any one of the to-die-for recipes shared here:
@TheRunawaySpoon: Tunnel of Fudge Cake ( I call it tunnel of love…) #FNIChat
@themartinidiva: Chocolate Covered Strawberries #FNIchat
@cookingblogger: Caramelized Banana Splits with Hot Chocolate Sauce #fnichat
