Yesterday got to have the ever-so-lovely and ever-so-stylish Kasmira from What I Wore Today join us in the 55KRC studios. What impresses us so much about Kasmira is how she is able to express herself, without apology, with flair and on a budget. Wow can we all learn from her or what?

Every Sunday at 3PM we gather at the 55KRC studios to talk with interesting people who are doing incredible things with their lives. That’s the best part of a Sunday – we get to spend time with them and learn from them.  You have to love live talk radio.

Yesterday was no exception as we got to have the ever-so-lovely and ever-so-stylish Kasmira from What I Wore Today join us in the studio. What impresses us so much about Kasmira is how she is able to express herself, without apology, with flair and on a budget. Wow can we all learn from her or what?

You’ll have to listen to the conversation in order to fully “get it” as she is just so truly unique and incredible.  She really taught me that, if I think something looks nice together, go for it. Own it. Hold my head high, shoulders back (with shoulder pads or not) and feel confident.

She sprinkled in a few tips too – consider swapping your clothes at a swap party (bring a certain number of items and you can leave with that many items or less).  Accessories are an easy way to change up an outfit – especially if you are on a budget. Keep them organized to be sure you even remember what you have (listen to the show to get her organizational tips).  Don’t be afraid of mixing colors and patterns (this one is something that is hard for me, but I will try).
