Join us Monday, November 30th, between work and that market stop, for savory conversation with and tasty inspiration from Cooking with Caitlin, Alouette Cheese, and a table-full of food-focused Twitter friends.  Created by Molly, Kelly, and Caitlin of cookingwithcaitlin.com, #FNI is just one more way of bringing the hungry people of the world to the same table.

This Week at Foodies Night In (#fni):

What’s your crunchy, creamy, crave-worthy version of a grilled cheese?  What’s your favorite soup for dipping?  When does comfort food sound the best to you?  When do you start planning to eat it?  Are the ingredients in your pantry?  Or, when the craving hits, is a trip to the market required?  We want to know how food fits into your everyday life, and especially your holiday meal-planning.  Come hungry for time-saving tips on how to use the same old ingredients; plan to leave with a cornucopia of spirited solutions for everything from event menus to Tuesday night dinners.  We do hope that this becomes one of those online events that stays on your calendar each and every week.

RSVP:  Consider this your online event registration.  But, let’s be honest, we really don’t need you to RSVP but we would sure love to hear from you.  Send us a Tweet or an email to let us know you are joining the conversation! This is one web event you do not want to miss.

Here’s how it works:  Late Monday afternoons (4-6pm eastern to be exact) we meet through Twitter.  Using the hashtag #FNI and that of the weekly sponsor, we greet each other at the virtual door, and get cozy to talk about whatever food-related topic we are featuring that day.  Typically the topic will be determined by the weekly sponsor of #FNI.  The sponsor compiles at least ten questions that serve as the framework of the conversation over the two hours of #FNI.  Then, the hosts (6-10 each week) throw out each question at pre-determined times throughout #FNI.  Of course, the questions and hosts are in place to guide the worldwide chat, but all candid questions, comments, and concerns are invited and encouraged. 

In the end, we all walk away with our bellies full of new ways to think about, prepare, store, purchase, eat, and altogether celebrate that which connects us all – food.  Before you get cozy with us on the 30th, take a moment to become familiar with Cooking with Caitlin and Alouette Cheese just to get your mouth watering.
