BBQ Butter Corn

Especially in the Midwest, corn becomes one of the side items of choice at the end of the summer. Deliciously sweet, corn is such a great fresh treat. If you are looking for a new way to serve an old favorite, try this BBQ Butter Corn. In no time at all, you will have transformed this delicious vegetable.

The first thing you will need to do is fire up your grill and get your grill tools ready (I always have my portable grill on the ready).  We are going to cook this corn on the cob on the grill! I like to cook this corn on an outdoor grill to avoid any smoke in the house.  Be sure to follow my simple cooking tips for the best outcome to this quick and easy dish.

Serve this BBQ Butter Corn with my Orange Chicken Burger for a great summer meal.

all ingredients

  • 5 Ear Corn on the Cob
  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Your Favorite BBQ Rub or BBQ Seasoning

recipe instruction

1. Shuck your corn (remove it from its encasement).

2. Melt your butter in the microwave.

3. Combine your dried seasonings with melted butter.

4. Drizzle, then rub the BBQ butter mixture all over the corn.

5. Bring your outdoor grill to high heat and sear all sides of the corn until they become bright yellow in color and a little charred. Have your grill tools on hand to make your life easier.

6. Before you serve, toss with any leftover butter.

7. Serve and enjoy!
