make what’s already good GREAT
I have a real affinity for doughnuts. In fact, for all the yummy food that surrounds me, I do believe I would be fine just eating doughnuts for the rest of time.
Serve these easy glazed doughnuts for breakfast, but also for dessert and try my Cinnamon Pineapple Doughnut Glaze. YUM.
cooking information

- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cooking Time: 30 minutes
all ingredients
- 1 Box Original Glazed Doughnut Holes
- 2 Cups Red Wine
- 1 Carton (1 Cup) Fresh Raspberries
- 2 Sprigs Fresh Mint
- 3 Cups Powdered Sugar
recipe instruction
1. In a small saucepot combine your red wine, fresh raspberries, and fresh mint. Turn to medium high heat and bring to a boil.
2. Continue to boil and reduce. The raspberries will burst and brake apart. Once the sauce is thickened, remove the mint leaves and let cool down.
3. Once the concoction is cooled, whisk in your powdered sugar and set aside. (If the sugar is too lumpy return to low heat until the lumps are gone.)
4. A couple hours before serving the doughnuts, place on a cookie sheet, top with the glaze and let rest in the refrigerator.
5. Serve and enjoy.
