Gyro Burgers
a fresh spin on a classic
One bite of this Greco-inspired Gyro Burger and you will know that Zeus is smiling down upon you. The combination of beef and lamb meat makes for a juiciness unmatched anywhere else on Mt. Olympus. The spices alone would make Aphrodite blush. Spread on the Homemade Tzatziki Sauce and you’ll feel just like an immortal too. A Greek Salad is the perfect side for this burger.

all ingredients
- 1 Pound Ground Lamb
- 2 Pounds Ground Beef
- 1 Tablespoon Dried Oregano
- 1.5 Teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1.5 Teaspoons Cracked Black Pepper
- 1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin
- 1 Teaspoon Paprika
- 1 Tablespoon Kosher Salt
- 12 Buns
recipe instruction
1. Combine all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
2. Grill on one side for 7 minutes, flip with slotted spatula and grill another 7 minutes.
3. Place burger on bun, top with my Homemade Tzatziki Sauce, top with tomato slice and sliced red onion
cooking tips
- Be careful when using hot oil. The oil will pop when it is hot! If you are nervous, try grilling instead!
