cooking information

- Prep Time: 2 minutes
- Cooking Time: 5 minutes
all ingredients
- 2 Bananas
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Vanilla Rum
- 1 Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream
recipe instruction
1. Slice the bananas into ½ thick silver dollars.
2. Pre-heat sauté pan to medium-high. Add the brown sugar and create a caramel (melted brown sugar). Once the sugar has begun to melt, add the banana.
3. Saute for 1-2 minutes until the liquid has reduced down and become one.
4. Transfer your rum from the bottle to a smaller glass. Always be very careful when adding alcohol as you do not want a flame to travel up to the bottle. Pour the rum into the bananas and caramel mixture.
5. I like to serve these in shot glasses or on dessert plates with a scoop of ice cream.
cooking tips
- Be sure to always transfer your alcohol into smaller containers before pouring! You don’t want the flame to travel up into the bottle!
